TERMS AND CONDITIONS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Prices All goods offered for sale by ERIC include postage and packing and VAT (Registration No. 567 7948 68) where applicable and in force at the time of purchasing (excluding bulk alarm special prices). Due to circumstances beyond our control, e.g. changes in the rate of VAT prices may have to be altered. The correct price will be stated at the time of ordering.

Ordering by post or fax or phone Although our online ordering service is protected by encryption, you may purchase our products in any of the more traditional ways. For details please refer to the contact us section of this website. Our phone line is available Monday-Friday between 9 am - 4 pm. Where payment is by credit card transaction the person ordering must be the credit card holder or have the card holder's authorisation.

Invoicing

Please note we are unable to issue invoices for any orders with a total of less than £20.00. Cheque or credit card payment is requested in these instances.

Delivery

We guarantee delivery of items that are in stock within 21 days from receipt of order. However under normal circumstances, if in stock, items are delivered within 7-10 working days. An express delivery may be requested for an additional surcharge provided the item is in stock which is non-refundable. Please phone or email orders@eric.org.uk at time of ordering.

Damaged in Transit/Discrepancy

If goods are found to have been damaged in transit, they must be returned immediately and a replacement will be despatched. If a replacement is not available, ERIC will offer a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. Always obtain a ‘ Certificate of Posting’ when returning goods. Please note we should be informed of any discrepancy or damage within 72 hours of receipt of goods. Beyond 72 hours, we reserve the right not to refund or replace goods.

Descriptions and product photographs are accurate at the time of webshop launch. Please note there may be occasions when these can differ.

Unique customer reference number

This is found on your receipt or invoice. Please use this in any contact with ERIC or returns relating to your order.

Cancellation Rights

Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that descriptions on this website are accurate. If for any reason an item is not acceptable, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to the eighth working day AFTER you receive the goods, except where the goods have been personalised or made to your specification, or in the case of audio or visual recordings or computer software. A working day is any day except a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England (Scotland & other countries have different public hols). In order to cancel, you must write, fax or email us to tell us you are cancelling your order and return the goods to us as unused and in good condition at your own expense. We will refund the price and the amount you paid for your original postage and packing.

Customer information

We hope you will be very happy with the goods purchased from ERIC. If, however, you feel you have any ground for complaint, please write to Diane Starr, Finance & Commercial Manager, at ERIC. Your complaint will be dealt with as soon as possible. In most cases the item will be returned to the manufacturer for a second opinion based on a report. A decision will then be made upon receipt of this report.We cannot offer a refund or exchange without the goods having firstly been returned for investigation purposes.We reserve the right to refuse any order, at our discretion.
